<aside> 💡 final thoughts: just more than i even hoped for. i love everything they're doing here. i am effectively shook. such a solid release and i am so proud of them! they gave us sexy in a reserved, classy way. they gave us groove, flavor, more vocals than frankly we know what to do with. i hope they win everything and bring more appreciation to them and astro with this.

1. EYEZ ON U - such an unexpected opening but i like it..a LOT. and the switch ups!! every single one is great. the chorus is groovy if a little under-pronounced. they should have gone extra with it! moonbin really going above and beyond here with his vocals...his skill is so underrated. and his unique tone is so beautiful. the blend of sanha's voice with his here is kiiinda flawless. i loooove a good eh oh eh oh. and oh my goodness, a fade out is on the rare side for kpop, so i dig it. (i'm in the 70's these days okay don't shoot me)
2. BAD IDEA - god since i heard it i was going NUTS! it's sooooo funky, so good, almost dark disco but not quite. it's full bodied and juicy but not quite upbeat either. how did they manage that? but ugh YES. moonbin doing something very interesting with his voice and i love it and it scares me. sanha's voice tone actually fits this groove so well it's DISKUSTING. i love this release so much nd i'm so proud of them. it just HITS. my GOD. the more it goes on, the more i love it. and these reviews aren't supposed to be me fangirling but are you kidding me! they seriously DID THAT. and nobody even asked. sanha bringing some soulful vocals to the bridge and it's all i want. and there is no rap...even tho moonbin could have gone off, it's actually refreshing to not have a rap on every damn kpop song for no reason. i really hope we get a crazy hip hop unit with rocky and jinjin too and then everyone can learn what rap is because i won't lie, i miss their raps.
3. ALONE - what are you doing. i love it. that melody is so refreshing. and it doesn't drown out their vocals, which again, are really underrated. and really going off in this track, too. so gorgeous! this sounds like a more indie artist type of release, so they did end up doing something sanha likes more, too huh! lmao. so far it already has a genre, tempo and mood balance that still blends together rather nicely. these two and their vocal rich bridges are an attack.
4. ALL I WANNA DO - such a nice slow down. lovely. snaps. it's a chill, smooth, pretty vocal show off song, not that they aren't constantly showing those off regardless. astro has such quality slower songs and this is no different, though it is in fact, different from astro. they definitely were able to set themselves apart.
5. DREAM CATCHER - moonbin's voice 😭😭😭 nobody can touch this harmony. nobody touch me! you should have known this review might be a little biased...this is my faves in my ult group so. ANYWAY. i might end up listening to this more than all i wanna do? even though this is even slower and chiller. the melody reminds me of 90's american pop just a little, enough for me to feel nostlagic and like this song even more.
